Q. Are mystery shoppers PAYE or Self employed?
A. All mystery shoppers who work for Scisco-uk are Self Employed, therefore you are solely responsible for declaring your earnings.
Q. How do I register as Self Employed?

Q. What do I need to register as a mystery shopper?
A. Our registration form will ask you for a Passport number or Driving Licence number. Once you have registered we will contact you directly for a copy of this. If you are unable to provide either of these, we have a choice of alternative documents we can accept. You must provide adequate information as proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
Q. What training will I be given?
A. We provide guidelines for each job which give specific details on what is required of you including questions to ask during the visit. We can however provide additional training; this can be discussed and arrange with one of the team on acceptance of your application.
Q. How often is work offered?
A. Work is added to the jobs board on a monthly basis. All work is allocated on a first come first served basis, however we will offer work to our shoppers who have completed the training module prior to everyone else.
Q. Will I be guaranteed work every month?
A. We cannot guarantee that work will be given to you every month. There are a number of factors, for example, typically if you cannot re-visit a location for a period of at least 3 months or, the client may want a specific shopper to visit, I.e. a female.
Q. Where do I find available work?
A. Mystery shoppers are provided with a log in and password to our online system. Here you will be able access, apply or assign the jobs we have available.
Q. How do I know what to ask for?
A. We will provide you with guidance notes for each client.
Q. How do I report my findings?
A. We will provide you with an online report which you will submit to us once the job is complete.
Q. When and how will I be paid?
A. Once you have completed a job for us, you must submit an invoice for payment. (We can supply you with a template invoice). Payments will be processed within 8 weeks of receipt of your invoice, and you will be paid direct into your bank account.
